Design a boiler in autocad

 Introduction

I designed a boiler using autocad. I used revolve tool for make it as a 3d object. And I made holes on the top of boiler using array tool. Practice two hour a day is a big deal.



Follow this as a routine, I swear that you can do anything in autocad.



Boiler

Boiler are basically cylindrical shape. The inner and outer diameter are only thing you always keep on mind. I uploaded full designing video on youtube. You just chech it out.



The important fact that all designer should keep in mind is,for using revolve tool front plane is used as a x-y plane.



How to design a boiler?

Change the settings to 3d modeling

  1. Then select front plane.
  2. Draw a center lineand draw inner and outer diameter for the boiler. For that you just create line of diameter as a length.
  3. Then use revolve tool to mke it as 3d.
  4. Then select top plane as a x-y plane.
  5. Draw a circle for hole as a diameter of you want.
  6. After that use array tool. And in that tool select association here select no.
  7. Then make it as a 3d object. And move it to interect with tha top of the boiler.


And use substract tool to make holes.

My output

My output is more protective because of  bottom is supported with a 3d legs.finally I printed the output and stored it in desktop.
