Introduction
In this post I design a simple universal coupling in autocad. The parameters are very important for this design so very careful with that. I used my old cad material for reference. You better use latest material for reference.
What is universal coupling?
Coupling is a device that is used to connect two shafts for rotating purpose. The speciality in universal coupling that two shafts are inclined to each other. Mostly used for rotary purposes.
How to design a universal coupling?
The steps followed for creating universal coupling is explained in this video. I attached images of rendered model.
My output
I designed it using autocad and finally rendering the object. The material I used for this coupling is aluminium. And the rendering environment is warm light effect. The result is stunning.
